Structured Execution for Your Community, With Hard Risk Caps on Every Trade

When your community posts a structured signal, RelayDesk checks it against per-account position caps and a daily loss cap before any order reaches the broker, then executes it in each member’s own connected broker account. It is not just a pipe from your Discord or Slack to a broker. It is a risk engine that enforces the limits each member sets, on every signal. Members connect their own broker, keep their funds in their own account, and start in paper mode with one-tap confirmation. RelayDesk is a technology platform, not a broker-dealer or investment advisor, and does not provide investment advice.

Common Challenges

  • Members act too late on every signal

A member reads the signal, switches to their broker, types the ticker, strike, and expiry, and by the time they submit, the price has already moved

  • One oversized position reflects on the whole community

A member likes a signal, sizes it too big, or ignores the stop they set for themselves, and a single bad trade turns into a drawdown that reflects on your community, not just their account

  • Ten members, ten different results

Every member reads, sizes, and enters the same signal differently, so followers end up with inconsistent results and inconsistent reasons to trust the call

  • Basic signal-to-broker tools stop at the pipe

They forward the order and stop there. They do not know a member’s account size or limits, so nothing stops someone from blowing past what they can afford to lose

RelayDesk Results

  • Signals execute consistently across members

No more scattering by who happened to be at their screen when the signal posted

  • Oversized positions get capped, not just flagged

The risk engine checks position size and daily loss against a member’s own limits before an order executes

  • Members build trust before going live

Paper mode lets members build trust in the workflow, and in your signals, before real money is on the line

  • Your signals become something members can act on

Structured and member-controlled, inside limits each member sets for themselves, not just something they read

Member-owned execution

Funds never leave the member’s account

Each signal executes in the member’s own connected broker account, so members keep control and you never touch their positions

Member-owned execution

A real risk engine, not just a pipe

Position size + daily loss caps enforced pre-trade

A per-account risk engine checks every signal against that member’s position caps and daily loss cap before anything reaches the broker, and blocks or trims the order when it would breach a limit

Real risk engine

Paper-first onboarding

One-tap confirm before every live trade

Members start in paper mode with one-tap confirmation, so they see exactly how a signal would fill before any real money moves

Paper-first onboarding

Never custodies funds

OAuth only, no fund transfers

RelayDesk connects through secure OAuth, no API keys, and never holds, moves, or withdraws member funds

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you automate a trading community’s signals to members’ brokers?

Your community posts a structured signal through a webhook. RelayDesk receives it, checks it against each member’s per-account risk limits, and routes it to that member’s own connected broker for execution. At launch, execution runs on one-tap confirmation by default, so a member approves the trade before it is placed.

Is RelayDesk a broker-dealer or investment advisor?

No. RelayDesk is a software platform, not a broker-dealer and not a registered investment advisor. RelayDesk does not provide investment advice, does not recommend trades, and does not select or curate which signals a member follows. Every trade routes to a broker the member chose and connected themselves.

Who is responsible if a trade loses money?

The member. Every trade executes in that member’s own brokerage account, under position and loss limits the member set. RelayDesk executes what a member’s connected signal source and risk settings specify, it does not manage member funds or make trading decisions on a member’s behalf, and it is not responsible for trading outcomes. Trading involves risk, and members are solely responsible for their own trades.

Does RelayDesk hold or manage member funds?

No. RelayDesk connects to a member’s broker through secure OAuth, not API keys, and never holds, moves, or withdraws funds. Money stays in the member’s own account at all times, and members keep full control of their positions.

Does RelayDesk place trades automatically without a member’s approval?

At launch, one-tap confirmation is the default: a member confirms each trade before it is placed. RelayDesk does not trade on a member’s behalf without their authorization.

Which brokers does RelayDesk support for community signals?

RelayDesk currently executes live trades through Alpaca, with Tradier and Public.com coming soon, plus a built-in paper-trading mode that requires no broker connection and no card.

What is the risk engine, and how does it protect members?

The risk engine runs on every signal before it reaches the broker. It applies per-account position size caps and a daily loss cap, and it blocks or trims any order that would breach those limits. This is what separates RelayDesk from a plain signal-to-broker pipe, which forwards an order without knowing the member’s account or limits.

Can members test RelayDesk before trading real money?

Yes. Onboarding is paper-mode first. Members run the full workflow in paper mode with one-tap confirmation, see how each signal would fill, and only connect a live broker when they are ready.

What kinds of signals can RelayDesk execute?

At launch RelayDesk executes structured, webhook-fired signals, for example a signal with a defined ticker, direction, strike, and expiry. It does not act on freeform chat messages, which keeps casual conversation and non-trade posts from ever triggering an order.

How do community owners work with RelayDesk?

Community owners can partner with RelayDesk as a commercial partner on a revenue-share basis. Named analysts behind the signals get recognition and reach rather than cash commission, which keeps the arrangement clear of adviser-style compensation obligations. Community owners and analysts never manage member funds or place trades on a member’s behalf. Each member connects and controls their own broker account, and the risk of any trade stays with that member, not with RelayDesk, the community, or its analysts.

What does RelayDesk cost?

Every signup starts with a 30-day free trial of the Basic plan, credit card required. If you don't cancel, it automatically converts to Basic at $49.99 per month. Advanced is $99.99 per month (the recommended tier), and Pro is $249.99 per month if you want to upgrade.
